Easter 08'

AULT-STARS It's all about the W
Before the Big Egg Hunt
Guitar Hero Champions of Easter
Aunt Mamie and Caders

Every year there is a big Easter egg hunt that goes down at Jamie's parents house. There is mad scratch involved cuz her parents load the eggs with some serious coin. I don't want to ruin the ending for you, but James and I won with 79 bucks. Sushi dinner here we come; don't bother waiting up for us. It all started off with a great dinner of ham, and funeral potatoes, followed by a family nap. That just gets people ready for game time. Jamie and I decided to go all out and suited up in our custom uniforms for a bit of intimidation. It obviously paid off as we got all the eggs, but we then felt charitable and put a few back for the other teams to get a few too. Hey.... its family, we do what we can. All in all it was so fun, but the best part was just being with family. Thanks, Blake and Marsha, for having us all over and keeping the Easter tradition.

Viva Las Vegas

Mom, and Tanya were gonna be in Vegas for a weekend for a wedding, so James and I decided to saddle up and take a trip down to visit them. It was so fun hanging out with mom, and tj. We played, and played and played. We spent most of our trip walking around town going into all the casinos, but we did manage to see a few shows. The best, by far, was Cirque du Soleil. Those people are almost as strong as Jamie. For reals, it was such a blast to get away. Not too mention we ate like champs thanks to mom fitting the bill where ever we went. Thanks mom, (and dad :) )

Birthday Boy

The fake restaurant

The real Tepanyaki

Birthday Cake #2

Birthday cake #1

February 27 was Travis' big 28th birthday! It was pretty much rad. We started out by going to dinner. We had the great idea of going to a Japanese Steakhouse where they make the food in front of you. Jamie had googled one here in Salt lake, and printed out the menu so we could have a well planned evening. When she googled it, she spelled Teppanyaki with 2 P's. The results came up, and she got the address for it in west valley. We drove and drove but could not find it. Finally in a small shopping center we found the restaurant....... a small hole in the wall called BanzaiTeppan Yaki. Once we got there we realized it wasnt what we wanted. We sat down and it was some small mom and pop japanese restaurant. After the waitress went to get us our water.... we bailed!!! Jamie made a few calls, and then we finally ended up at the right Tepanyaki's restaurant. It only has 1 P! After our dinner Jamie acted like she had forgotted something at her parents house, and needed to stop by and get it. When we showed up, Travis learned that it was all a setup and Jamie's parents had left for the night. The place was decorated with banners, and candles, and a nice fire. We opened presents, and Travis got all the super cool stuff. The cool stuff was a apron because Travis is about the worlds best cook, some sushi making tools, and a new hoodie. The highlight of the night was probably the cake Jamie made. It was in a shadow box, and was a whole snowboarding scene!!! It was complete with snowboarders, a car, a parking lot, a lift and tons of snow and trees!!! All in all it was a perfect night and we loved spending the special day together.

Once upon a time . . .

I suppose you are wondering how I found this boy, or should I say he found me! Travis moved here last November from Houston, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M in Biomedical Science.(Yep, he is a smarty pants.) Considering that there are only 3 single wards in Houston and he had a better job offer in SLC, he packed his bags and headed up here. At the beginning of December, 2007 we ended up meeting at a Christmas PJ party. I was looking my best in my Penguin Pajamas and pigtales to say the least. After the party I got a phone call from Kelton Cole, one of Travis's mission comps and a good friend of mine from high school. They decided to come over and chill. It was a great time, but a mystery. Travis and Kelton left and I was pretty sure he didn't even know my name, but there was definitely some type of chemistry between us. A few days later I received a TEXT wishing me a Merry Christmas and mentioning that we should hangout when he got back into town. Sure enough he called me up and as they say the rest is HISTORY . . . for the most part. We became buds from the beginning and truly built our relationship on a firm foundation of friendship. After some time (and I mean I was very patient) we realized that we were ready to take the next step. Yep, he asked me to be his "GIRLFRIEND" and I said YES! I know it sounds silly, but it seems harder for people to commit these days. Since then things have been nothing but up hill. I have been on Cloud 9 and in my own little world. I truly love Travis with all my heart and know that he feels the same way. He is not only my best friend and team mate, but someone who I can see myself with for FOREVER!
It is official -- I am in LOVE! X O X O X O X O

I know your thinking it is about time, but it was well worth the wait!
